Your feedback on the Google Guides I have been publishing here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning is really informative and encouraging. I am also planning to curate these guides into a single eBook to post here in the coming weeks.
As for next week's guides, I am preparing for your two illustrated tutorials on how to use YouTube ( everything you need to know about YouTube ) to create, edit, crop, and customize videos to use with your students. I am also working on another guide on how to use Blogger blog to design your classroom blog.
However, some of you requested me to post on how to embed YouTube videos in their Blogger blogs. This is part of the tutorial I am planning for next week, but I will briefly guide you through the simple process of embedding YouTube videos in your blog.
This is how to do it :
First, there are two ways to embed YouTube videos in your Blogger blog posts :
1- Either through the video icon you have in the Blogger word editor as the screenshot shows, but the problem with this is that it does not always work.
2- The second way to embed YouTube videos and which always works is to grab the embed code of the video and paste it in the HTML editor of your post. Don't freak out , it is very easy and here is how to do it.
Head over to the YouTube video you want to embed and look for the button " share" under it. Click on it, then click on " embed" then grab the highlighted code of that video.
Now back to your blog word editor. click on HTML button and paste the code where you want it to appear in the post.
